Briley picks committee to help determine fate of historic downtown building
Mayor David Briley continues to push forward on Metro’s acquisition of an historic downtown building with ties to the city’s controversial land swap.
On Thursday, the mayor’s office announced a nine-person committee tasked with determining how the nearly 100-year-old building could be converted into an affordable housing project.
